Privacy Policy Notice

We value our clients' privacy and have protected the confidentiality of the personal information clients have given us for over one hundred years. Under federal law, attorneys, like other professionals who advise clients on personal financial matters, are required to inform their clients of their policies regarding privacy of client information. Attorneys have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality found in Rule 1.6 of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct adopted by the Arkansas Supreme Court, which are even more stringent than those required by federal law. In the course of providing our clients advice concerning income and other taxes, estate and personal financial planning, employment questions and personal debt issues, we receive significant nonpublic personal financial information from our clients. Clients should know that all information that we receive from clients is held in confidence, and is not released to people outside the firm, except as agreed to by the client, or as required under an applicable law or under the Model Rules of Professional Conduct. We retain records relating to professional services that we provide so that we are better able to assist clients with their personal needs and, in some cases, to comply with professional guidelines. In order to guard clients' privacy, we restrict access to nonpublic personal information about clients to those attorneys and employees who need to know that information to provide services to clients. We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with our professional standards.
